You can either pay the closing costs for the VA loan out of your pocket or get seller or lender credits to cover the closing costs.
There's also no down payment required when getting a VA loan to buy a home so that's a good benefit of getting a VA loan instead of a traditional mortgage.
If you're unable to qualify for a regular mortgage then you can try applying for a VA home loan which you'll have a better chance at getting approved for.
