Most great Pyrenees dogs sleep between 14 to 18 hours per day.

The Great Pyrenees dog needs more sleep per night or day then other dogs so you'll usually notice your Great Pyrenees dog will be sleeping a lot more than other dogs which is normal.

The Great Pyrenees dog weighs between 85 to 160 pounds and has a lifespan of between 10 to 12 years.

Great Pyrenees dogs are also people dogs and love to be around people and can't stand being locked up in crates for too long like other dogs can.

So make sure you allow the Great Pyrenees dog enough time out of the crate and if possible allow it to sleep out of the crate at night.

If you're gone for awhile then you might want to crate the dog but you should put it outside in a fenced in yard if possible.

The Great Pyrenees dog will be much happier when left outside while you're gone as long as it has food, water and shelter.

Or you could leave the dog in the house without the crate as long as the dog is not getting into things while you're gone.
