The last time I had an MRI done on myself it took me a week to get the results of the MRI.
You won't get the results of the MRI immediately because it takes time for the test results to be seen and taken care of and then they will report back to you after they go through the tests and find out the results of your MRI.
The doctors have lots of MRI test results to go through and report on so it can take from 1 to 2 weeks to hear back on the test results after an MRI test is done.
After you have the MRI the radiologist will then send a report to the doctor who arranged the MRI scan.
Then after that is done the doctor will discuss the results of the MRI with you.
So you need to be patient and if you haven't heard back from the doctor after 2 weeks about the MRI test results then calling the doctor up would be a good idea.
