Puppies usually sleep more the younger they are and as the puppy grows and gets older and older they will need to sleep less and will not sleep as often as they did before.

Puppies at 3 months of age will sleep around 15 to 20 hours per day depending on how sleeping the puppy is and some puppies will do most of the sleeping during the day and then stay up at night.

And other puppies may stay up during the day and sleep during the night.

If your puppy is prone to staying up at night you might want to crate the puppy to prevent them from getting up through the night and going through things in the house.

Also make sure you take the puppy out to potty before bed and put the bowl of water away an hour before bed especially if the puppy is not fully potty trained.
