When you have asthma your ability to breathe properly is affected although you can still breathe pretty good mostly.

But when your asthma flares up it can close your airways making it very difficult to breathe.

Those airways carry oxygen in and out of your body which you need to live and your brain needs oxygen as well and if not then your brain begins to die and then you die if you do not get enough air and oxygen.

Asthma can cause things such as shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, and tightness in your chest and if you do have an asthma attack you need to get medical attention right away.

So if you or someone else has an asthma attack call 911 and get medical attention right away because having an asthma attack can be deadly.
