If I have to be in a waiting room longer than 10 to 20 minutes I will bring a tablet or a good book with me.

Most waiting rooms will have free WiFi where I can use my tablet to watch Youtube videos and before I know it an hour has passed by in what seems like 10 minutes instead of the hour.

Without anything to do or watch in the waiting room and just sitting there an hour can seem like 4 or 8 hours especially if you constantly look at the clock.

Some waiting rooms have televisions that you can turn the channel and watch what you want to watch but some you have to watch whatever is on the TV.

If you're waiting for someone in the hospital then you might want to step out of the waiting room for a bit but if you're waiting for someone then you can tell the desk receptionist that you're stepping out the door for awhile in case a doctor needs to talk to you or if the person you're waiting for gets admitted or is leaving the hospital.

Waiting rooms are so boring and I can't stand to wait in the waiting room longer than 20 minutes and if it's gonna be more than an hour in the waiting room then I leave and go do something else.

That is unless I'm there for myself but if I'm waiting in the waiting room for someone else such as in a hospital I will leave and go do some shopping or go the park etc or go back home if possible.

But if I'm in the waiting room I bring my laptop and watch videos on youtube or browse some websites to pass the time.
