If your baby is crying and nothing is wrong other than the baby just crying you can let the baby cry it out for 5 or 10 minutes.

Usually the baby will stop crying after 5 or 10 minutes if nothing is actually wrong.

But always check to make sure the baby is not hungry or sick or needs a diaper change before letting them cry it out.

It's okay to give your baby some attention which you should do but you need to also let your baby get used to being away from you because you can't be near the baby all the time nor can you hold the baby all the time.

My son when he was a baby would cry for up to 10 minutes sometimes when he just wanted attention and I wished I could hold him all the time but it's not possible.

They grow up so fast and you will miss those crying days though and miss the time when you could hold them in your arms.
