If I were to invest what investments work well and do well during recessions?

What investments aren't affected by the recessions?

Investing in natural gas, or gasoline are a few good investments as most of us will still need gasoline and natural gas even during recessions.

Electricity is another thing you can invest in as it too will still be needed no matter what the recession does.
