Does hair conditioner get rid of hair lice?

My 8 year old son has hair lice and I don't have any money to get hair lice remover right now.

Will using hair conditioner on his hair kill the hair lice?

Yes hair lice can be removed by hair conditioner. But you must condition the hair with it for 10 days for it to be effective.

Also hair lice hate vinegar and it will kill the lice. You can wash hair in vinegar to kill lice.
