A properly taken care of and well maintained car should easily last at least 200,000 miles but can even last as long as 300,000 to 500,000 miles in some cases.
I had a Honda car that I had bought used when it had 250,000 miles and I used it to drive to work and it lasted until 500,000 miles before the engine went in the car.
I maintained it well and only gave $800.00 for the car used so I got my moneys worth out of that car and it wasn't worth repairing.
I've also had some other less maintained cars last only 150,000 miles because the previous owner didn't maintain it properly such as changing the oil and oil filter.
If you get 200,000 miles out of a car you're doing pretty good but as much as cars cost today I would expect to get 300,000 miles minimum out of it but of course the more miles the better.
