Cars are made to drive and do not need a rest so driving long distance is no problem for your car as long as the car is in good mechanical condition.

Long distance driving in a car or other vehicle is much better for the vehicles engine than stop and go traffic driving.

When you're driving short distances and not driving down the highway your engine gets hot but doesn't get up to a high enough temperature to burn off the moisture in the engine.

Moisture can naturally condensate in the engine oil causing milking oil which should clear up when the engine gets up to temperature.

It's okay to drive short distances but driving long distances in the car or other vehicle is very good for the car and will do no harm to the car.

Cars are designed to drive long distances and short distances as well and they do not need a rest but just be sure to check the engine coolant and engine oil to make sure it has the proper levels of oil and coolant but don't open the coolant reservoir when the engine is hot.

Wait until the engine cools down after around 30 to 60 minutes and then it should be safe to open the engine coolant radiator cap.
