No glue traps don't really attract mice and some mice will try to avoid glue traps if you do not use something as bait on the glue trap.

I've had to use some cheese on the glue trap to attract the mice to the glue trap while other times I've had mice just walk across the glue trap and get stuck.

I would recommend putting a tiny bit of cheese or tiny piece of bread on your glue traps for the mice to be attracted to the glue traps.

If you do not add some type of bait food to the glue trap then the mice might just avoid the glue traps and stay away from them.

Just like with a regular snap mouse trap you must add some bait to the mouse trap to attract the mice and make sure if you use a snap mouse trap to push the cheese, bread or other bait into the mouse trap so that the mouse doesn't remove the bait easily and avoids getting trapped.

Also remove the mouse as soon as you notice the mouse because if other mice see the dead mouse in the trap or on the glue trap then they will avoid it as they will see it as dangerous.
