There are a few rattlesnakes on Camelback Mountain so do be careful and watch closely when you're hiking on Camelback Mountain.
I encountered a couple of snakes including a few rattlesnakes when hiking on Camelback Mountain but never was bitten or had any problems with the rattlesnakes.
As long as you stay clear of the rattlesnakes and don't try to provoke the rattlesnakes they will usually leave you alone.
To avoid the rattlesnakes and avoid getting bit by a rattlesnake or any other snake be sure to stay on the trail and keep a good eye out for any snakes and if you see any stay really far away from them.
Then the rattlesnake will leave you alone along with any other snakes.
If you do get bitten by a rattlesnake you need emergency medical help which can be hard to get when on camelback mountain or other hikes.
But if you can call 911 to get help if you do get bitten by a rattlesnake as rattlesnakes are venomous and can kill you if the bite is left untreated.
