Drinking carbonated or seltzer water does have a few benefits such as improve swallowing, increase feelings of fullness and reduce constipation.
The seltzer water or carbonated water can also help with digestive issues and help when you have a stomach flu or other upset stomach.
Other than that there are no other health benefits of drinking seltzer water but in moderation the seltzer water is okay.
Just avoid drinking too much seltzer water as it can lead to things such as damage to your stomach lining or even ulcers.
Plain water is better for you to drink than seltzer water but there's nothing wrong with sometimes drinking some seltzer water or carbonated water.
