Putting bigger tires on your car is okay as long as they fit and the wheels clear the brake rotors and wheel wells.
If you do install bigger tires and wheels on your car then it can affect your speedometer which can cause you to either think you're going slower or faster than you really are.
So you have to watch your speed when you install bigger tires on your car.
Also another thing that can happen when you install bigger tires on your car is the bigger tires can affect your fuel economy in a negative way.
Your car may use more gasoline or other fuel as a result of the bigger tires because it can take more power from your engine to turn the bigger tires down the road.
So if you need to install some bigger tires to give you a bit more ground clearance then it's okay as long as they fit but just be aware that the speedometer and fuel mileage can be affected.
