A good way to see and know if your baby possibly has a urine infection is to look at the urine and look for urine that is cloudy, foul smelling and/or bloody.

If the babies urine is cloudy then it may or may not be a urine infection but if the urine is foul smelling or bloody then the baby likely has a urine infection.

If the baby does have blood in their urine or the urine is foul smelling you need to take the baby to the emergency room or urgent care to get the baby checked out.

Blood in the urine is an indicator of something wrong that should not be ignored so get the baby to urgent care of the emergency room as soon as possible.

If your baby does have a urine infection you can give them some cranberry juice and make sure they stay hydrated but also take them to the emergency room or urgent care.

Or take the baby to the walk in clinic if you cannot afford the emergency room unless it gets worse.
