Normally oil pressure in a vehicle should read between 45 to 55 PSI but as you increase your speed down the highway the oil pressure can go up and down depending on how fast you're going.

As your engine RPM goes up your engines oil pump spins much faster which increases the oil pressure in your engine.

Oil pressure fluctuating when your going down the road is normal and nothing to be worried about.

But if your oil pressure climbs above 65 PSI and stays there or doesn't go back down when your RPM goes down then your oil filter could be clogged or your oil pressure sensor could be bad as well or could be dirty.

There's no harm in driving your vehicle with fluctuating oil pressure as it's just a normal thing that the engines oil pump does as it spins faster and faster and then when the oil pump stops spinning as fast it lowers the oil pressure.
