If you have a tooth abscess and the tooth abscess ruptures you'll usually have a foul smelling and foul tasting, salty fluid in your mouth.
If the tooth abscess has spread you may also have A severe, persistent, throbbing toothache that can radiate to the jawbone, neck or ear.
If the tooth pain doesn't go away like it should then you should go to the dentist and get treated because the tooth pain can lead to potential death if it spreads too far and is left untreated.
If the tooth abscess gets worse see a dentist as soon as possible or go to the emergency room for treatment.
Other signs that the tooth abscess has spread are stomach pain, increased breathing rate, dehydration, increased heart rate, fever and swelling.
