When your engine has reduced engine power or your vehicle is telling you that your engine power is reduced it means that something is going on with the vehicles engine causing the vehicle to lose engine power.
The loss or reduction of engine power can be caused by things such as dirty throttle body, faulty throttle body, clogged air filter, clogged fuel filter, bad spark plugs, bad ignition coil, bad spark plug wires, low fuel pressure etc.
If your cars having reduced engine power you should get it into a mechanic and have them put a tester on the computer system of the car to find out exactly what is going on.
Sometimes when my car has engine power reduced it's caused by either bad spark plugs or a clogged air filter.
But if your air filter and spark plugs are good then it could be something else going on that needs checked out by a mechanic.
In some cases it's okay and safe to drive with reduced engine power but other times it can be caused by more severe problems that could lead to a car fire or seized engine so do get it checked out as soon as possible to find out exactly what is going on.
