I'm not a meteorologist nor have a lot of knowledge about weather and how the weather actually works.

However from what I remember learning some in school and online is that when heat waves happen it brings on more natural disasters as the air gets hotter.

The heat waves affect the oceans, weather patterns, snow and ice, and plants and animals.

The heat wave also messes with the weathers patterns and as the weather gets too hot and then rapidly cools down then it creates natural disasters.

Heat waves are also very dangerous to humans and animals as extreme heat can heat up our bodies making us more prone to heat related illnesses and heat strokes and death.

It's best to stay inside an air conditioned place when there's extreme heat and then go outside early in the morning or in the evening when it's cooled off.
