When a person has sepsis the early symptoms of sepsis may seem like a simple viral infection that usually goes away without treatment.

However sepsis needs medical attention for it to go away and will not usually go away on it's own and if left untreated the sepsis can get worse and lead to death.

So that means that the condition sepsis is a serious infection that can kill you if you have it so you should not avoid the emergency room when you have sepsis.

If you think you have sepsis you should go to the emergency room for treatment because it can be deadly within a few days to a few weeks depending on how far progressed the sepsis is.

Some common symptoms of sepsis are low blood pressure, chills, dizziness, fatigue, fever, flushing, low body temperature, or shivering.

You may also experience an altered level of consciousness or mental confusion, fast breathing or shortness of breath, delirium, fast heart rate, insufficient urine production, organ dysfunction, skin discoloration, or sleepiness.

If you experience any of those symptoms of Sepsis you need to get to the emergency room for the treatment of the sepsis so that it doesn't get worse and kill you.
