I don't have kids and probably never will. But kids around here in Kansas at least in my county "Reno County" start school tomorrow too "August 16th 2017".
I'm so glad I don't have to go to school anymore. I hated it really bad and had bad anxiety and was shy at school.
Being an adult sucks at times due to having to work and earn money to get bills paid but It sure is a lot better than having to go to school for nearly 8 hours and not earning any money.
I never graduated from school and never got a diploma so I'm basically unemployable. but I'm okay with that. I run websites and run a scrap metal yard on my own time and sometimes do odd jobs for people. And although I'm not rich I get the bills paid and I don't have to answer to a boss.
My dad never graduated from school either and did just fine. He even got hired onto jobs when he was younger. But that was over 40 years ago as he will be 70 years old this December.
I will be 30 years old March 8th 2018.
I love not answering to a boss and deciding when I want to work and when not too.
I work just enough to get the bills paid and have food on the table. And I'm fine with that.
Having a diploma, GED or college degree doesn't guarantee a job.
