USPS tracking says In Transit Arriving Late?

I'm waiting on a package through USPS and the tracking information says it will be delivered today but then the tracking information says "In Transit Arriving Late"

The expected delivery date still shows today as the delivery date but says it will arrive later than expected?

Has anyone else here experienced this?

I've experienced the same before and though that since it still said the delivery date was the same that I would get the package then as well.

But then later it updated to a new date which was a few days later and then the package arrived.

So if you do not get the package today since it's Saturday you should get the package by Monday at most or even Tuesday.

If you haven't gotten the packaged by Tuesday then I would contact your USPS and give them the tracking number so they can see where it's actually at and locate it for you.

USPS delivers thousands upon thousands of packages and letters everyday so it is possible for something to get lost in the mail or not get out on the truck or airplane like it's supposed to.

So sometimes packages or letters can arrive late but I wouldn't worry about it for a few more days if it doesn't show up today.
