Yes the right bronchus is larger than the left bronchus.
Basically your left bronchus is smaller in caliber than your right bronchus is.
The left bronchus is however longer than the right bronchus but the left bronchus is smaller than the right bronchus is.
Your left main bronchus also enters your lung opposite of the sixth thoracic vertebra.
Your right main bronchus is about 2.5 cm in length and is shorter, wider, and more nearly vertical than your left bronchus.
That is because it is in almost a direct line with the trachea, foreign objects traversing the trachea are more likely to enter your right main bronchus.
