When towing a camper trailer behind your vehicle you should drive at a speed of between 55 MPH to 65 MPH.
Some states have a speed limit of 55 MPH when towing trailers including travel trailers or camper trailers and it's a good safe speed.
Also travel trailer or camper trailer tires are rated for a speed of up to 65 MPH so you should never really go above 65 MPH when driving and towing a camper trailer.
If you travel above 65 MPH then you risk blowing out your trailer tires which can lead to damage of your travel trailers interior or cause a wreck.
I never go above 65 MPH when pulling my camper trailer and sometimes I'll slow down to 55 MPH to 60 MPH when I'm in no hurry to get somewhere.
