It's free to park on the street and then free to hike the Camelback Mountain and you can only hike it from sunrise to sunset.
It's also best to start out early in the morning to begin the hike to the top of Camelback Mountain to avoid the heat and crowds and have plenty of time to get to the top of the mountain and back before sunset.
I've went on the Camelback Mountain Hike a few times and hope to go climb it again after I retire one day.
It's a nice hike but you cannot bring your dog or other pets with you so you must leave them at home.
They used to be allowed on the Camelback Mountain hike but dogs are banned from the Camelback Mountain now.
