Can Alzheimer's disease cause death?

If a person has Alzheimer's Disease can Alzheimer's Disease be a cause of death?

Yes Alzheimer's disease can be a cause of death. My Grandpa is in the severe stages of it and honestly when he dies and his suffering ends I'll be happy.

I love him so much and cant' stand to see him suffer like this.
