Radiator Hoses are made of rubber and will last between 50,000 to 150,000 miles before they degrade and possibly burst and then leave you stranded and cause your engine to overheat.

If your radiator hoses have never been replaced and it's been either 150,000 miles or 10 years since your radiator hoses have been replaced then it's time to replace the radiator hoses before they do burst.

That is the thing you do not want to wait to fail because you will be stranded alongside the roadway and need a tow or you could have to get towed which would cost you more than the new radiator hoses would cost.

I always replace my radiator hoses every 100,000 to 150,000 miles or at least every 10 years or even before especially if I'm gonna go on a long road trip because I do not want anything to fail and leave me stranded.

I've been broke down on the side of the road before on a long road trip and it's no fun and I do not want that to happen again either.
