A broken tooth is usually not a dental emergency and usually does not require emergency medical treatment to fix the broken tooth.

That is unless your gums are bleeding a lot and you cannot stop it at home then you should go to the emergency room for treatment.

Usually though the broken tooth will just work it's way out on it's own an the pain if any will go away within a day or so.

It's still a good idea to see your dentist as soon as possible or go to urgent care to get the broken tooth checked out to be sure you don't get a tooth infection as a result.

But most times when I've broken a tooth it was just painful for a bit and I had a bit of bleeding that went away within a few hours.

I did see a dentist the next day though just to get it checked out and it was okay.
