A sediment filter on your water system lasts between 3 to 6 months before needing replacement.

And depending on the system you have the tank filter should be changed every 300,000 gallons or three years or 1,000,000 gallons or 10 years.

The tank and filter usually lasts longer than the sediment filter does.

Change the sediment filter every 3 to 6 months and I change it every 3 months myself but every 6 months is okay as well.

You can change the other water filters more often as well but the main water filters can last from 5 to 10 years depending on how much water you send through the system and what brand and type of water filter and water filter system you have.
