Yes a 2 year old toddler can easily walk on their own without assistance.
Even at 1 year old you can begin to walk as most babies begin to take their first steps on or a little after their 1st birthday.
And then after that they begin walking better on their own without much or any assistance and then they're running around without any problem by 2 years old and beyond.
Between the time a baby is 9 and 10 months old they will start pulling themselves up onto things such as a coffee table or anything else they can reach from a crawling position.
Then they start to walk unsteadily and can fall back on their butts which is normal and you should continue letting the baby try to stand up and walk even when they fall.
That's the way the baby learns to walk.
