To clean a greasy stove top you can mix some vinegar and water together in a spray bottle and spray the vinegar and water solution onto the stove top and let it sit for an hour or two hours.
Then use a sponge or a scrub brush to wipe up the grease from the stove top.
Then take some baking soda and sprinkle the baking soda onto the stove top and then spray the greasy area again with some vinegar.
Then wipe the stove top down again.
You can also spray the stove top with some degreaser known as Purple Power Degreaser that works really well at cleaning grease off stove tops and anything else that may be greasy.
It's not a harsh chemical and works well.
I try to dip a sponge in some water with dawn dish soap after cooking to remove the grease from the stove top before it gets too greasy.
