Bears have a very good sense of smell and can smell food from mile away so yes a bear can easily smell and detect even dehydrated food even though you may not be able to smell it.
A bear can even smell a can of tuna or other food opened a mile away so be very cautious when preparing or keeping any food in bear country or when camping where bears are around.
Keep food out of sight and avoid storing food inside a tent and put food up high in a tree if possible to keep it out of the bears sight and reach.
So store the food properly and keep it out of the sight of bears and preferably keep your food inside a camper or RV or in the trunk of your car to prevent the smell from getting to far and prevent the bear from seeing your food.
