If the raw meat has sat outside then it's possible for the raw meat to contain parasites and worms which can then be transferred to your dogs body.

However if the raw meat you're feeding your dog comes from the grocery store that you would eat yourself then it's very unlikely it contains any parasites or worms that your dog or yourself could get.

You can kill off some bacteria by bringing some water to a boil and then dipping the raw meat into the boiling water for a minute and then feed it to your dog.

Some vets recommend a raw meat diet so it's safe to feed your dog some raw meat in moderation and they should not get any worms or parasites or any other sickness from eating the raw meat.

Now if your dog ate some raw meat such as from a dead animal that has been dead for awhile then yes the dog could get worms or other parasites from that.

But raw meat from the store should not give the dog worms or any other parasites.
