When you begin taking antidepressants the antidepressant medicine seems to give your body a boost in energy and it takes your body some time to get used too.

So for example if a person is feeling suicidal the depression medicine can actually give the person enough energy to follow through with the suicide.

So if someone is taking antidepressants you need to watch the person closely just in case it makes the person feel worse and possibly commit suicide.

Once your body gets used to the antidepressants which can take a month or two then your body should be adjusted to the antidepressants and you should be feeling better.

If you continue to feel worse after taking the antidepressants then you should speak with your doctor or mental health professional.
