Having to wear a hearing aid can sometimes be considered a disability if the hearing loss is severe enough that it affects your ability to work a job.

So sometimes have hearing loss and wearing a hearing aid a person can be considered and approved for disability payments.

However not everybody who has to wear a hearing aid will be considered disabled enough to get disability payments or be considered a disability.

Some people can sometimes still work a job just fine even when they are wearing hearing aids such as at a desk job or some other job where good hearing is not required to perform the job.

So if you have hearing loss that is severe enough then sometimes it can be considered a disability but not always.
