Yes from experience cockapoos do make good family pets and they are pretty good around children and babies as well.
When I was a kid we had two cockapoos and they were very lovable, friendly and playful with us as kids.
I wish I could get another cockapoo but I don't have time to take care of anymore dogs other than the one I have now.
But if you're looking for a good family dog and want a cockapoo dog breed then you would certainly be making a good decision as long as you're ready and willing to take care of the pet.
All pets and dogs need lots of love, care and attention.
But I would highly recommend getting a cockapoo if you want a good family pet dog.
