On average camper trailer or travel trailer tires last from 5,000 to 15,000 miles if you travel a lot and sometimes they may last longer.

But usually it's the age and not the mileage that travel trailer or camper trailer tires need replacing.

Camper trailer or travel trailer tires usually go bad long before the tread wears off the tires due to pretty low mileage.

Most people only pull their travel trailer or camper trailer around 1,000 to 5,000 miles every few years or so when they get time for vacation.

However some people may pull their camper trailer or travel trailer longer distances and more often especially if they are full time living in campers and travel trailers.

If the travel trailer or camper trailer tires are 10 years old or older they should be replaced before going out on a road trip.

Check the tires for any cracks or weather checking before setting out on a trip or even check for flat spots on the tire and if there are any cracks, weather checking, bulges or flat spots replace the tires before setting out on the road trip.

You can buy already mounted trailer tires at Walmart and other stores as well and all you have to do is mount the rim on the wheel hub.

But if your rim is still good then replacing the tires would be a good cheaper alternative too.

But even if the tires have less than 10,000 or 20,000 miles on them they should always be replaced at 10 years old regardless of mileage.
