Some AutoZone stores do accept used motor oil for recycling but not all AutoZone stores do accept the motor oil.
However 95% of AutoZone stores do accept used motor oil and allows you to drop off used motor oil for free of charge to dispose of.
Most other auto parts stores including Oreilly Auto Parts sometimes takes used motor oil for recycling as well.
You can also check with local auto shops as well as sometimes auto shops will use a waste oil heater for heating the shop with and will gladly take used motor oil off your hands.
Or if you have no other places like that around you could check with your local landfill as sometimes they have a recycling program going on for used motor oil and other hazardous waste.
