Dogs can eat meat whether raw or cooked but if you feed the dog some raw meat you should get a pot of water boiling hot and then dip the raw meat into the boiling water for a few minutes.
By dipping the raw meat into the boiling water for a few minutes the boiling water kills off any potential bacteria to avoid your dog from getting sick.
I feed my dogs both raw and cooked meat at times and I alternate between the two.
Raw meat in moderation for dogs is actually good for them and sometimes a vet will put a dog on a raw meat and even rice diet in some situations.
So a dog eating raw meat is perfectly safe as long as you dip the meat in boiling water for a few minutes.
But you can also feed the dog some cooked meat when you want too.
