I haven't been able to eat anything today. For some reason and I can't figure it out is whenever I try to eat anything solid I start to gag and can't get anything down my throat.

My stomach feels fine but I start gagging when I try to eat solids. I did manage to get some melted ice cream down a few minutes ago though and it stayed down.

I then tried to eat some cut up hot dogs but I started gagging again and can't get it to go down?

I want to eat as I'm really hungry still but nothing solid will go down and ice cream doesn't fill me up enough.

You might be getting acid reflux disease which is making you gag when eating. Although it might just be a temporary thing.

Are you stressed and nervous about anything? I know when I've been nervous or stressed about something my stomach starts feeling jittery and I can't swallow anything that is solid.
