When you have a cavity starting the coconut oil can help prevent the cavity from progressing and getting worse.

The coconut oil will help to remove the bacteria and kill the bacteria causing the cavities so by oil pulling with coconut oil you help to get rid of bacteria and prevent the progression of cavities.

However if the cavity is already bad enough then only a dentist can fix the cavity in your tooth by adding a dental filling to fill in the tooth cavity.

Oil pulling with coconut oil can also prevent gum disease as well so it's a win win.

I use coconut oil to oil pull with every few days in between brushing my teeth and haven't had a cavity since or any other gum disease.

Just take a tablespoon of coconut oil and swish it around in your mouth while pulling the coconut oil through your teeth by sucking the coconut oil through your teeth.

Do that for 10 to 20 minutes and you should have better and healthier teeth and gums and prevent cavities as well.
