Yes if your dog has long nails the long nails can make the dog have a hard time walking and make the dog limp.

If your dog is limping and has long nails then trimming the nails on the dogs paws can help stop the limping.

My dog was limping before and I checked to see if anything else was causing the limping and nothing else was but then I noticed the dogs nails were too long and after I cut the dogs nails he stopped limping.

So if your dog is limping and has long nails then cutting the nails short enough can make the dog more comfortable and stop the limping.

If you cut the nails and the dog is still limping then the dog could have some other injury to it's leg and needs to see a vet.

But if you keep the dogs nails properly trimmed then it can make the dog walk better and prevent limping.
