The way I get my front loading washing machine clean and to stop smelling is to use some vinegar and baking soda in the washing machine.
To get your front load washer clean and to stop the front load washing machine from smelling you pour 1/2 cup of baking soda into the washing machine drum and then pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the detergent dispenser of the washing machine.
Then set the washing machine to use hot water and then start the washing machine up and let it run through a wash cycle without any laundry inside it.
Once the front load washing machine has run through the wash cycle the smell should be gone.
If the smell still lingers then running the washing machine through another wash cycle with vinegar and baking soda should clear the smell up.
Sometimes I have to run the washing machine through a second cycle if the washing machine ad a really bad smell to it.
But most times if it's just smelling a little bit the one wash cycle with the vinegar and baking soda usually clears the smell up.
