Missing school for just a few times will not usually get you into much trouble or get you a fine.
However if you miss school too much and have no good reason to miss those school days then you can be fined up to $60.00 to $100.00 for the first offense.
Then if you miss more school you can be fined another $100.00 or even $500.00 to $1,000.00 depending on the state and their laws.
In some cases parents as well as the student can be arrested for missing school too often.
Going to school is not fun and I hated school too but I went to Juvenile hall before for missing too much school before.
School was fun compared to the sitting in Juvenile Hall in a jail cell being locked up for 3 months.
So always get to school to avoid getting into trouble.
Also if you don't get your diploma you will not be able to get good jobs or any jobs without that diploma so the diploma and education from school is very important.
