Yes clam chowder is good for weight loss because clam chowder is low in calories which makes it great for keeping you feeling full but helping to allow your body to lose weight because of the low calories that clam chowder has.

A bowl of clam chowder contains around 161 calories so it's perfect to help keep you feeling full while keeping off the calories which cause weight gain.

When you intake less calories you keep off the weight as long as you exercise daily to help burn off the fat and calories.

When I was losing weight I ate some clam chowder and it was filling while helping to keep the calorie intake low and I also ate cabbage soup which is also low in calories and can help burn off fat.
