When parking your car where there is a stop sign the law says that you must park your car or vehicle at least 30 feet away from any stop sign.
if you park your vehicle closer than 30 feet away from the stop sign then you could get a ticket.
That same goes for other things including flashing beacons, or other traffic signals at the side of the road as well as yield signs.
As long as you park 30 feet or more away from those things including the stop signs you're doing it correctly.
