When you're growing amaryllis bulbs and want them to flower again you will need to force the amaryllis bulbs to go dormant.

The amaryllis bulbs will need to be dormant for around 6 to 8 weeks so that they can be flowered again.

To force the amaryllis bulbs to go dormant you should place them in a dimly lit place such as a cellar, basement or other dark or dimly lit place for 6-8 weeks.

After 8 weeks you can remove the amaryllis bulbs from the dimly lit or dark place and bring them back into the sunlight and they should begin flowering again.

It can take a few weeks or even a month to see the amaryllis bulbs flower again so it might not flower soon after.
