If the person is completely dependent on the life support machine then it can take as little as 10 minutes for the person on life support to die.
But sometimes they can live up to week or more depending on how bad off the person is.
Removing someone from life support doesn't always end in immediate death of the person. But most people taken off life support die within 10 minutes.
