When pulling a camper trailer you should drive between 55 MPH to 54 MPH maximum.

On Interstates I drive with my travel trailer behind me at 65 MPH which is the maximum speed I can safely go because the trailer tires on the travel trailer are only rated for 65 MPH.

On back roads I slow down to 55 MPH or maybe will get up to 60 MPH but when on back roads I go slower when I don't need to drive faster.

If people think I'm driving too slow pulling the travel trailer they can pass me if they want too and it's safe for them but I'm not gonna speed up with my travel travel trailer because someone is honking at me or thinking I'm going too slow.

Sometimes I love to drive a bit slower when I have no time limit to get somewhere as I love to sometimes just slowly drive the back roads to see sights in different states and areas.

But you should not really exceed 65 MPH when pulling a trailer to be safe and give you time to react to stop because if you're traveling too fast and suddenly need to stop then you can easily jack knife the travel trailer and cause an accident and damage your travel trailer.

Driving slow allows you time to slow down and stop before crashing or jack knifing your travel trailer.
